Students will get an introduction to the commercial real estate industry and healthcare real estate as an asset type. They will learn about Newmark and its Healthcare Capital Markets group. They will meet team members and hear about their backgrounds and the role of an analyst on the team. Following lunch, team analysts will teach students the basics of commercial real estate financial modeling. To conclude the DelEx, students will participate in a group activity to create and present presentations that make an investment case for a medical office building (MOB).
